Are you ready to run?

The Endurance Sports Running Club meets every Saturday 8:00am at the North Muskegon Nature Preserve. Located across from Rite Aid on the corner of Whitehall Rd and Lake St. Cost is free and open to all runners and walkers.

Camp Pendalouan 5K Trail Run/Fun Walk April 26, 2008

Think you can out run a deer? Neither do I, but I will try to out run some of the other runners. Camp Pendalouan offers a great venue for this epic event. By the way this is a great way to preview XTERRA Blackhawk's run section.

Sam Darling Runs North Country 50 Mile Trail Run for Charity

Runner extroidenair Sam Darling will be competing in the North Country Trail 50 Mile Ultra Run late this Summer in an effort to raise funds for affordable water filtration systems through out developing countries. Sam will also be running the Boston Marathon hoping to break the 3 hour mark. Great Job Sam!

Stark Raving Mad 6 Hour Adventure Race June 14

News Flash! South East Michigan Set To Invade West Michigan.

SOLAR (School for Outdoor Leadership, Adventure and Recreation) will be converging on the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex in an effort to complete their first adventure race. SOLAR members have been training since the beginning of the year and the final leg of their journey will be competing in Stark Raving Mad. Welcome SOLAR!

West Michigan will we answer with an invasion of our own? Will we show our friends from the East, that we are not the "Beer Tent Capital of the World" or "Bariatric Capital", but in fact the new "Multi-Sport Capital of the World"? Stay tuned for this and other things we probably don't care about.

Salomon/Endurance Sports Summer Groove 15 Hour Adventure Race July 26

It's time to get your groove on. Last year it was a 3:00am swim in Pentwater Lake, followed by 15 hours of non stop fun. Summer Groove is looking for teams who are ready to take their game to the next level. Salomon Sports will once again be competing as well as bringing with them some very cool prizes. It's a celebration and your invited.

Orienteering Clinic Sunday April 27

Endurance Sports will be hosting an Orienteering event at Coast Guard Park in Ferrysburg, Mi. Knock the dust off your compass and come on out for a day of great hands on training.

Wetsuit Clinic at Endurance Sports!

Tuesday May 13, 6:00pm at Endurance Sports, Emmanuel Millet will be once again hosting this very informative clinic on Aquaman wetsuits. Emmanuel is very skilled at fitting and determining what is the correct wetsuit for you. A perfect fitting wetsuit is very important, May 13 we can help you find that perfect fit.

Block 58 Triathlon/Duathlon June 29, 2008

We have made two major changes to this years event.

Block 58 has moved to a new and improved location. The race venue is still located in North Muskegon. The new location is Bear Lake Beach. No more cut feet and bruised knees, Bear Lake offers sandy beaches and a much improved viewing area for the spectators. We feel athletes will welcome the new location.
The sprint distance swim will be changing for 500 meters to 750 meters. Great right? We will have one course for both the sprint and long course swim leg. Sprint athletes will swim one loop, long course athletes will swim two loops.

XTERRA Blackhawk August 24, 2008

For those of you already registered for XTERRA Blackhawk, welcome you are in for a great time. For those of you not yet registered - CHICKEN! Only 200 hundered lucky triathletes and duathletes will be able to compete in this challenging off road triathlon. Is this the year you become an XTERRA athlete? Did you know we will be raffleing off a brand new wetsuit? Must be a registered athlete to qualify for the drawing.
